How we handle printing

Betagraph does not "broker" printing per se. Instead, we "coordinate" it. That means we do NOT buy the print job, mark-up the printer's invoice, tack on a commission, and then hide the inflated cost of the print job in our invoice to you — a common (and unfortunate) practice that is subject to abuse.

Instead, we will work with the printer of your choice, if you have a preference. Some of our customers use a particular printer regularly and others don't. As needed, we work with a number of printers that produce quality results at a reasonable cost and in a timely manner.

As soon as we can determine the specifications of your print job, we will get a printer's estimate, along with several options for your consideration. That way you will know the printing costs in advance. We also arrange with the printer to bill you directly. Again, that way you will know the true cost of the printing.

Of course, we bill for our coordination time, which is only fair. Our coordination time is itemized in our proposal and estimate. Over the years, we've found that our customers appreciate knowing that the cost of our design and coordination services is kept separate from the cost of the print job.
